Annual Meeting of District Grand Council

All Council Recorders and members of the Councils in the Distinct.

Dear Companion,

By  command of the Right Illustrious District Grand Master, R. Ill. Comp. George J. Deacon:

I am writing to confirm the arrangements for this year’s Annual Meeting of the District Grand Council of Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight, which is to be held at the Botley Masonic Centre, Brook House, Brook Lane Botley Hampshire SO30 2ER. On Saturday 27^th August 2016 at 11:00 hrs.  Companions to be seated by 10:45 a.m.

District Officers, Masters, Deputy Masters, Principal Conductors of the Work and Past Masters of all Councils within the District are hereby summoned to attend; all other subscribing members of Royal & Select Councils within the District are invited and encouraged to be present; guests from other Districts will be most welcome. Masters, Deputy Masters and Principal Conductors of the Work of Councils within the District are requested to wear the collars of their respective offices.

There will be a rehearsal for current Active District Grand Officers taking part in the meeting, and those designated for Appointment thereto, at 9.15 am under the direction of the District Grand Director of Ceremonies.

Tea/Coffee and Biscuits and also Bacon Butties will be available from 9.15am

A full Order of Proceedings and Agenda shall be available on the day.

The meeting shall be followed by luncheon at the Masonic Centre at a cost of £21:00 including wine/soft drinks.  Please use separate slip (download below) for booking. All Bookings MUST be accompanied by the relevant Booking Fee. Regret that bookings by email for Payment at the meeting cannot be accepted.
